Bob Ashley

Bob is a seasoned professional with over 42 years of combined experience in Banking, Insurance, and Investment Services. A 1980 graduate of Emory and Henry College with a B.A. in Business Management, Bob has a rich background in Retail Bank Branch Management, having spent 10 years with Dominion and Sovran Banks, culminating in his last banking position as Vice President and Area Manager. His dedication to professional development is evident in his graduation from The Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management in 1987, where he also served as Class President. Since 1990, Bob has held licenses in Life and Health Insurance, and he acquired Series 6 and 63 Securities licenses in 1992.

As the President and founder of Robert Ashley & Associates, Inc., Bob has demonstrated leadership not only in his business but also in the community. He has a history of service, having previously served on the Board of Directors and as Past President of organizations such as the Abingdon Rotary Club, The Radford Chamber of Commerce, The American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems and the Board of The Saltville Museum of the Middle Appalachians.
